Douglas founded The North Face in California in 1966 with the intention of making the outside world accessible to all people, regardless of their abilities or origins.
In 1980, they introduced high-mountain ski clothing to their range of products, became a benchmark for extreme athletes, and launched expeditions to some of the most remote and little-visited corners of the planet. Following this philosophy, their motto "The North Face: Never Stop Exploring™" was born.
In the 90s they began to manufacture a line more adapted to day to day without losing the quality of their products.
But from one day to the next it became an iconic brand, hip-hop stars wore its jackets and everyone wanted to wear it, creating an urban movement and popularizing the brand in all kinds of environments.
